ODOT Seeking Public Input on IR-480 lane between State Road and SR-176

GARFIELD HEIGHTS (Wednesday, July 24, 2019) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is proposing to add an auxiliary lane on the north side of IR-480 westbound between State Road and SR-176 in the City of Cleveland.

The project will provide an additional lane to accommodate traffic merging onto IR-480 from SR-176 as well as traffic exiting to State Road from IR-480. This will create a safer merging condition between these ramps and give motorists more distance to get into the desired lanes.

This transportation improvement is scheduled for construction in 2020. Detailed project schedule information will be released in Spring 2020. The estimated construction cost is$1,650,000. ODOT is seeking public input regarding this project.
