Ross-772 Slip Repair Under Way
Chillicothe (Monday, June 17, 2019) – A slip repair project is under way on state Route 772 in Ross County, and the route will be closed during daytime, working hours this week.
Crews from the district’s Lo-Drill team and the Ross County maintenance facility will be working to install a retaining wall and make pavement repairs between Township Road 297 (Easterday Road) and County Road 165 (Denver Road), approximately three miles north of the Ross-Pike County line.
Throughout the week, S.R. 772 will be closed to traffic during daytime, working hours, from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with the route open to evening and overnight travel. During periods of closure, motorists will be detoured by way of U.S. 23 and S.R. 220 in Pike County.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the work day Friday, June 21, and all work will be contingent upon the weather.
