ODOT District 3 Weekly Construction Report
For the week of June 17
HURON COUNTY
US Route 20
US 20, just east of the Village of Wakeman, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project and structure repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete August 15, 2019.
US Route 20: Bridge Repair
US 20, at the structure over the Vermillion River, in the Village of Wakeman, will have reduced lane widths and traffic shifted to complete bridge repair work. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
State Route 99 ***NEW***
SR 99, between Bauman Rd. and North Greenfield Rd., will close Monday, June 17 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 99 to US 224, west on US 224 to SR 4, north on SR 4 to US 20, east on US 20 to SR 99, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, June 28, 2019.
State Route 103
SR 103, between SR 99 and SR 61, will have single lane closures for a smooth seal project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2019.
State Route 113
SR 113, from US 20 to just past Prairie Rd., will have traffic reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. This is a part of the SR 269 project listed below. The project is expected to be complete August 2019.
State Route 162
SR 162, from US 250 to the Village of New London, will have single lane closures for a chip seal project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete July 2019.
US Route 224: Culvert Replacement ***UPDATE***
US 224, just east of Bullhead Rd., is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for westbound motorists will be US 224 to SR 598, north on SR 598 to SR 103, west on SR 103 to SR 99, south on SR 99 to US 224, and reverse for eastbound motorists. US 224 is expected to reopen Thursday, June 20, 2019. NOTE: Bullhead Rd. will remain closed for 30 days as part of this project. Bullhead Rd. is expected to reopen Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
US Route 224: Railroad Crossing Repairs ***NEW***
US 224, between Lane Rd. and Greenwich Milan Twp. Rd., will close Thursday, June 20 for railroad crossing repairs. The detour route for eastbound motorists is US 224 to SR 61, north on SR 61 to SR 162, east on SR 162 to SR 13, south on SR 13 to US 224, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, June 21, 2019.
State Route 269
SR 269, through the City of Bellevue, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete August 2019.
State Route 598
SR 598, from the Richland County line to SR 61, will have single lane closures for a smooth seal project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2019.
