ODOT District 3 Weekly Construction Report

For the week of May 6

WAYNE COUNTY

State Route 57 ***NEW***
SR 57 in the City of Orrville, from the southern corp. limits to the northern corp. limits, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2019. 

State Route 83: Resurfacing Project
SR 83, between SR 302 and the Holmes County line, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete May 15, 2019.

State Route 83: Culvert Replacement ***NEW***
SR 83, just north of Hutton Rd., will close Monday, May 6 for two culvert replacements. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR 83 to SR 3, north on SR 3 to SR 604, west on SR 604 to SR 83, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, May 17, 2019.

State Route 302
SR 302 (W. Liberty St.), between W. North Ave. and Vancouver St, near the north entrance to the Wayne County Fairgrounds, is closed for a bridge replacement. This closure is located within the limits of the City of Wooster. The detour route for westbound motorists will be SR 302 (W. Liberty St.) to SR 3, south on SR 3 to the US 30 on ramp, head westbound on US 30 to US 250, north on US 250 to Old Lincoln Way, east on Old Lincoln Way to SR 302, and reverse for eastbound motorist. The project is expected to be complete July 31, 2019.

State Route 585 ***UPDATE***
SR 585 is closed between E. Pleasant Home Rd. and SR 57 for a culvert replacement, and the road is closed between N. Summit St. and N. Apple Creek Rd., in the Village of Smithville, for railroad crossing reconstruction. The detour route for southbound motorists is SR 585 to SR 57, south on SR 57 to US 30, west on US 30 to US 250, north on US 250 to SR 585, and reverse for northbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Friday, May 13, 2018.
