Lo-Drill Project To Begin On S.R. 505

Chillicothe (Thursday, March 21, 2019) – Another slip repair project is set to begin in Brown County, with state Route 505 slated for closure through next week.

Crews from ODOT District 9’s Lo-Drill team and the Brown County maintenance facility will be working to install a series of drilled shafts and make pavement repairs on S.R. 505, between County Road 59 (Love Road) and S.R. 756.

The route will be closed at approximately 8 a.m. Friday, March 22, and the closure will remain in effect through next Friday, March 29. While S.R. 505 is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 221 and S.R. 125.
