Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled

Hamilton and Warren Counties (Wednesday, March 20, 2019) - Pole erection requires various lane closures on Interstate 71 next week.

Wednesday, March 27 - Hamilton County: Close the right lane of north I-71 at Snider Road from 8 p.m. until midnight. Once complete, crews will close the right lane of south I-71 at Snider Road from 1 a.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday, March 28. Traffic will be maintained.

Thursday, March 28 - Warren County: Close the right lane of north I-71 at State Route 123 from 8 p.m. until midnight. Once complete, crews will close the right lane of north I-71 at SR 73 from 1 a.m. until 6 a.m. Friday, March 29. Traffic will be maintained.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
