Interstate 76 & Main Street in the City of Akron Traffic Pattern Changes Starting Sunday

Interstate 76 & Main Street in the City of Akron

(Sunday, December 2)

On Sunday December 2 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. the ramp from I-76 westbound to Main St., will be CLOSED for paving operations. The detour will be Dart Ave. to Thornton St. to Main St.

(Sunday, December 2 – until further notice)

On Sunday, December 2, the following traffic pattern changes will occur:

I-76 westbound will be crossed over onto the newly constructed I-76 eastbound lanes
The ramp from Main St. to I-76 westbound will be closed through late fall 2019. The detour will be Bartges St. to Dart St. to SR 261 to SR 59 to I-76 westbound.
