Upcoming ODOT Work This Week
Through the week ending July 7, 2018: The following traffic advisory includes road construction
and major maintenance projects requiring long-term lane restrictions and/or
closures along the state and federal highway system in Brown County.

BROWN COUNTY
TUESDAY, JULY 17: S.R. 221 will be closed between
C.R. 67 (Old A&P Road) at Higginsport and T.R. 592 (Hunter Road) at
Georgetown for a single-day culvert replacement project. The closure will be in
effect from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and while the route is closed,
motorists will be detoured via U.S. 52, S.R. 505 and S.R. 125.
JULY 23-AUGUST 3: S.R. 286 will be closed between
C.R. 311 (Gauche Road) and C.R. 104 (Upper Five Mile West Road) for a weeklong
culvert replacement project. The closure will go in effect at 8 a.m. Monday,
July 23, and continue until approximately 4 p.m. Friday, August 3. While the
route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of U.S. 68, S.R. 131 and
U.S. 50.
S.R. 763
has been reopened to traffic between T.R. 251 (Stringtown Road) and T.R. 350
(Lawwill Road) following a bridge replacement and realignment project. Crews
will have minor finishing work to complete; however, there should be little to
no impact to traffic, and traffic will be maintained as needed with the
flaggers. The remainder of construction is anticipated to be completed by mid-July.

Operations
for a preservation project on S.R. 125 have resumed, as crews will be completing
paving and finishing work between T.R. 402 (Gillette Station Road) and T.R. 579
(Old Infirmary Road). Traffic will be maintained in one, 12-foot lane and with
the use of flaggers as needed. (#17-0271)
A resurfacing project has begun on S.R. 125 and S.R. 774.
Crews will be paving S.R. 125 from U.S. 68 to the Adams County line, as well as
S.R. 774 between S.R. 125 and U.S. 68. Throughout construction on either route,
traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers, and the project is
scheduled to be completed in late summer. (#17-0605)
