New Main St. Bridge Opening in July

The new Main Street Bridge in Marysville will open July 18th at 5 p.m. The bridge on SR 31 has been closed between Elwood Avenue and 3rd St. since April. 

During construction, two detour routes have been set up; one for cars and another for trucks. 

Because of construction, there is a new temporary traffic pattern-- a three-way STOP-- at the intersection of Maple St. and Elwood Ave. All directions of traffic must stop. 

Originally the bridge was supposed to open this month, but weather and some minor construction issues have pushed the opening back to July 18th.
