S.R. 378 Culvert Replacement Gets Under Way
Chillicothe
(Tuesday, May
29, 2018) – A culvert replacement project has begun on state Route 378 in Lawrence
County, and restrictions are now in effect.
S.R. 378
has been closed between T.R. 168 (Symmes Creek-Yellow Creek Road) and S.R. 141
for crews from ODOT’s Lawrence County Highway Maintenance Facility to replace a
deteriorated culvert.
The closure will remain in effect until approximately 4 p.m. Friday, June
1, or until all work is completed, and while the
route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of S.R. 141 and S.R. 217.
Following this
project and during the week of June 4, the
maintenance crews will undertake a culvert
replacement project on S.R. 243, just south of C.R. 36 (McKinney Creek Road)
and midway between S.R. 7 and S.R. 378.
The closure will go into effect at
approximately 8 a.m. Monday, June 4, and continue through the end of the work
day on Friday, June 8, and throughout the week, traffic will be detoured via
S.R. 378, S.R. 217, S.R. 775 and S.R. 7.
