ROSS
COUNTY
MONDAY, MAY 14: Construction for a slide repair
is scheduled to begin on U.S. 35 in the eastbound direction near the C.R. 213B
(Musgrove Road) overpass, three miles west of the C.R. 207 (Watson Road)
interchange at Richmond Dale. Throughout construction, traffic will be
maintained in one, 12 lane in either direction, and the project is scheduled to
be completed in early fall. (#18-0178)
Operations for a resurfacing project on C.R. 550 have resumed, and crews will be completing milling and paving work between the U.S. 35 interchange at Pleasant Valley and S.R. 138, and traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers during hours of operation. All work is scheduled to be completed in early summer. (#17-0488)
Construction
has begun for the Industrial Drive extension off Gateway Drive in Chillicothe. The
project is to extend the existing industrial park roadway south toward the
access road off S.R. 104. As work will be conducted off the existing roadways,
there should be little to no impact to traffic. The project is scheduled to be
completed in mid-summer. (#17-0558)
As part of a districtwide bridge
maintenance project, restrictions will be in effect on S.R. 138 between the
intersections with Austin Road, just west of U.S. 35, for crews to repair
expansion joints. Traffic will be maintained in one lane by flaggers, temporary
signals and/or arrow boards when crews are at work. (#18-0157)
Lane
restrictions are in effect on S.R. 772, between C.R. 184 (Rozelle Creek Road)
and T.R. 906 (Streevey Lane) for a culvert replacement project. Traffic is
being maintained in one, 9-foot lane with temporary signals, and the
anticipated completion for all work is mid-summer. (#17-0372)
Preliminary
operations for a bridge
scour/bank stabilization project at the Paint Creek Bridge on U.S. 23, just
south of Chillicothe, have been completed. Crews will return to the site in
mid-June to complete the project, but as most work will be conducted off the
roadway, there should be little to no impact to traffic. The entire project is
scheduled to be completed in mid-summer. (#18-0032)
Operations have
resumed for a slide repair project on U.S. 50, between
T.R. 38 (Dill Road) and T.R. 150 (California Hollow Road), where crews
have finishing work to complete along the shoulder of the route. As most work will be completed off the roadway, there
should be little impact to motorists; however, traffic will be maintained in
one lane by flaggers as needed. All work is scheduled to be completed in late
spring. (#16-0516)
