PIKE COUNTY
MONDAY, MAY 14: A bridge
maintenance project is scheduled to begin the week of May 14, and crews will be
painting and sealing various bridges between C.R. 87 (Goff Road) and C.R. 76
(Red Hollow Road). Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in each
direction while crews are at work, and the project is scheduled to be completed
in early summer (#18-1019)
C.R. 4 (Pike Lake Road) is closed for a slide repair project. The project site is located immediately south of the Ross County line, north of T.R. 238 (Egypt Hollow Road). Motorists will be detoured via C.R. 28 (Potts Hill Road) in Ross County and C.R. 3 (Morgan’s Fork Road) in Pike County. The project is scheduled to be completed in early fall. (#18-0177)
S.R. 772 is reduced
to one lane between S.R. 124 and C.R. 18 (Newland Ridge Road) due to a slip. Crews
will be working to restore the route through early May as weather permits;
however, while it is restricted, traffic will be maintained by temporary
signals. Motorists may encounter short-term periods of delay when crews are at
work.
An intersection improvement
and bridge replacement has begun on S.R. 124, just west of C.R. 6
(Lapperell Road). Traffic on S.R. 124 will be maintained in one lane with the
use of temporary signals, while Lapperell Road will be subject to closure and
traffic will be detoured via S.R. 124 and S.R. 41. Although a date to close
Lapperell Road has yet to be determined, it is anticipated that it will go into
effect in early June. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in
mid-fall. (#17-0579)
As part of a districtwide
chip-seal project, restrictions will be in effect on S.R. 335, between the
north corporation limit of Beaver and T.R. 520 (Walker Ridge Road), for paving
operations. Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one lane by
flaggers, temporary signals and/or arrow boards when crews are at work. The
project is scheduled to be completed in mid-summer. (#17-0503)
