Upcoming ODOT Work This Week
Through the week ending May 19, 2018: The following traffic advisory includes road construction
and major maintenance projects requiring long-term lane restrictions and/or
closures along the state and federal highway system in Jackson County.

JACKSON COUNTY:
MONDAY, MAY 14: Operations
for a bridge replacement project are scheduled to begin on S.R. 327, between T.R. 513 (Thornton Road) and T.R. 153 (June
Marshall Road). Throughout construction, S.R.
327 will be reduced to one, 11-foot lane, and traffic will be maintained with
temporary signals. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in late
summer. (#18-0201)
MONDAY, MAY 14: A
preventive maintenance project is scheduled to begin on S.R. 93, where crews
will be paving the route from T.R. 738 (Cedar Street) at the southern
corporation limit of Oak Hill to T.R. 601 (Sternberger Road). Throughout
construction, traffic will be maintained by flaggers when crews are at work,
and all work is anticipated to be completed in early summer. (#18-0022)
A resurfacing project is under way
on S.R. 327 and S.R. 349, where crews on S.R. 327 will be paving the route
between the northern corporation limit of Wellston and the Vinton County line,
and on S.R. 349, they will be paving between S.R. 93 at Wellston and the Vinton
County line. Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained by flaggers
when crews are at work, and all work is scheduled to be completed by mid-summer.

A pavement and
bridge rehabilitation project has resumed on C.R. 98 (McCarty Lane), between
the roundabout at U.S. 35 and S.R. 93 (Main Street) in the city of Jackson. The
project is being constructed in stages, and sections of McCarty Lane will be
subject to closure. During periods of closure, motorists will be detoured via
U.S. 35, S.R. 32 and S.R. 93; however, local access to businesses and private drives will be
maintained. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late summer of
