ADAMS COUNTY

TUESDAY, MAY 15: S.R. 247 will be closed between T.R. 39 (Kimmerly Road) and T.R. 80014 (Big Pine Road), approximately four miles south of its junction with S.R. 137, for a single-day culvert replacement project. The closure will be in effect from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 125, S.R. 136 and S.R. 137.

A slide repair project is under way on C.R. 10 (Pumpkin Ridge Road), just south (east) of the route’s junction with T.R. 61 (Sherwood Road). Throughout construction, the route will be closed, and traffic will be detoured locally via T.R. 61 (Sherwood Road) and C.R. 3 (Island Creek Road). All work associated with the project is scheduled to be completed by early fall. (#18-0219)

S.R. 770 is reduced to one lane near C.R. 14 (Tranquility Pike), approximately two miles east of S.R. 247 at Seaman, due to a pavement slip. A project to repair the route will be under way in the coming weeks; however, a schedule to complete the repairs has yet to be determined. Traffic will continue to be maintained by temporary signals throughout construction.
