Upcoming ODOT Work This Week
Through the week ending May 19, 2018: The following traffic advisory includes road construction
and major maintenance projects requiring long-term lane restrictions and/or
closures along the state and federal highway system in Adams County.

ADAMS COUNTY
TUESDAY, MAY 15: S.R. 247 will be closed between
T.R. 39 (Kimmerly Road) and T.R. 80014 (Big Pine Road), approximately four
miles south of its junction with S.R. 137, for a single-day culvert replacement
project. The closure will be in effect from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:30
p.m., and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 125,
S.R. 136 and S.R. 137.
A slide repair project is under way on C.R. 10 (Pumpkin
Ridge Road), just south (east) of the route’s junction with T.R. 61 (Sherwood
Road). Throughout construction, the
route will be closed, and traffic will be detoured locally via T.R. 61
(Sherwood Road) and C.R. 3 (Island Creek Road). All work associated with the
project is scheduled to be completed by early fall. (#18-0219)
S.R. 770 is reduced to one lane near C.R. 14 (Tranquility
Pike), approximately two miles east of S.R. 247 at Seaman, due to a pavement
slip. A project to repair the route
will be under way in the coming weeks; however, a schedule to complete the
repairs has yet to be determined. Traffic will continue to be maintained by
temporary signals throughout construction.
