U.S. 42 Route lane closures scheduled this week

Warren/Greene counties (Friday, April 20, 2018) - Drainage work requires various lane closures on north and south U.S. Route 42 next week.

Lane closures will be in place between the Red Stewart Airfield (Waynesville Airport) and State Route 725 in Greene County daily from 7 a.m until 5 p.m. Monday, April 23 through Friday, April 27. Traffic will be maintained.

Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
