S.R. 7 Closed In Lawrence County

Chillicothe (Sunday, February 18, 2018) -- S.R. 7 is now closed at Athalia in Lawrence County due to flooding from the Ohio River. 

S.R. 7 has been closed at T.R. 1147 (Jewel Road), just south of Athalia, and the closure is in effect until further notice. 

In addition, closures remain in effect on S.R. 243, between S.R. 7 at Bradrick and C.R. 68 (Shafer Town Road), as well as on S.R. 650 at U.S. 52 and Hanging Rock and between C.R. 43 (Kelly's Mill Road) and S.R. 522. 

Motorists are reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited, and they should avoid traveling on roadways which remain open but where standing water may be present.
