EASTERN CUYAHOGA COUNTY

*UPDATED*I-90 Resurfacing, Bratenahl and Cleveland
Overnight Thursday, August 10, crews will temporarily close the I-90 westbound entrance and exit ramps at East 72nd and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive ramp from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform paving work. Various day and night lane closures will take place east and/or westbound between E. 55th Street and E. 140th Street throughout the week.

*UPDATED*I-271 Widening, Bedford, Bedford Heights, Warrensville Heights and Oakwood… Overnight Friday, August 11 from 8 p.m. – Monday, August 14 at 6 a.m., crews will divert all I-271 northbound traffic to the left contraflow lane at Broadway/Forbes. All through I-271 north traffic that does not enter the contraflow lane will be detoured onto I-480 westbound to Northfield Road to Miles Road to I-271 northbound. When all lanes reopen on Monday, I-271 northbound traffic, north of Columbus Road will be traveling on new pavement. During this time, the I-480 westbound ramp to Rockside Rd. will also close. Find detours and additional information here. Monday, August 14 through Friday, August 18 the left contraflow lane of I-271 northbound will close between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for paving. Additionally, Monday, August 14 through Friday, August 18 Miles Rd. will close between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for bridge demolition under I-271.

*UPDATED*East 55th Street Resurfacing, Cleveland
On Friday, August 11 traffic will be shifted onto the existing southbound lanes of E. 55th St. in order to repave the southbound lanes. If weather does not allow crews to complete the change on time, the shift will occur Saturday, August 12. Two lanes northbound and one lane southbound are being maintained between Bower Ave. and Truscon Ave. and one lane northbound and one lane southbound are being maintained between Truscon Ave. and Broadway Ave. More information here.
