For the week of June 26th – July 2nd


Sidney (Monday, June 26, 2017) – The following closures are currently in effect for the week of June 26th – July 2nd:  


Auglaize County

  • SR 29, SR 197 and SR 720, Various daily lane closures along these routes June 19th – July 14th between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.


Champaign County

  • US 36 between Bollinger Road and Edgewood Avenue, Daily lane closures June 12th – August 31st between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 54 between SR 4 and Brigner Road, Daily lane closures May 22nd – September 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 55 between Elm Tree Road and Edgewood Avenue, Daily lane closures May 22nd – September 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • US 36 between SR 814 and McMahill Road, Daily lane closures May 22nd – September 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 296 between SR 29 and SR 814, Daily lane closures May 22nd – September 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • US 36 between Berwick Drive and Dugan Road, ROAD CLOSURE April 10th – July 10th.  The official detour is: SR 814 to SR 296 to US 68


Clark County

  • SR 565 between SR 29 and Houston Pike, Daily lane closures May 22nd – September 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • I-70 east Ramp to I-675 north, RAMP CLOSURE April 19th – October 31st. The official detour is: I-675 to SR 444 to I-675 north
  • I-675 north over I-70, Traffic Pattern Switch. The two lanes of northbound traffic are shifted to the southbound side just south of the overpass. Two northbound lanes will be open. * Once over the bridge, the right lane will be an exit only for I-675 north to I-70 west. The left north bound lane will be for thru traffic to Spangler Road.
  • I-70 west near I-675, Lane width restrictions April 5th – October 31st. The roadway will be restricted to 22’ in this area. 


Darke County

  • SR 118 between SR 47 and the Mercer/Darke County line, Daily lane closures June 16th – July 14th between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 726 between Preble County Butler Township Road and East Washington Street, Daily lane closures June 15th – July 21st between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • US 127 between US 36 and Kruckeberg Road, Lane closures June 12th – August 25th. One lane will remain open in each direction. 
  • US 36 between US 127 and SR 48, Lane closures April 24th – June 30th. One lane will remain open at all times for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 121 between Arnold Street and Fairview Avenue, Daily lane closures April 24th – September 1st between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers. 


Logan County

  • SR 720, SR 508, Various daily lane closures along these routes June 19th – July 14th between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
  • SR 274 between SR 235 and SR 117, Daily lane closures June 12th – July 31st between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • US 33 between McCalla Road and SR 117, Daily lane closures June 6th – 30th between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 366 between Township Road 94 and SR 117, Daily lane closures May 8th – July 31st between the hours of 7:30 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 368 between SR 366 and the county line, Daily lane closures May 8th – July 31st between the hours of 7:30 am and 5 pm. One lane of traffic will remain open through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 117 between SR 235 and SR 274, Daily lane closures May 8th – July 31st between the hours of 7:30 am and 5 pm. One lane of traffic will remain open through the use of flaggers.
  • US 68 between TR 219 and CR 103, Lane closures April 10th – June 30th. One lane will remain open at all times for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.


Mercer County

  • SR 118 between Mercer-Darke County Line Road and SR 119, Daily lane closures June 26th – July 19th between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.
  • US 127 between SR 705 and SR 219, Daily lane closures June 26th – July 31st between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • SR 219 between CR 219A and Moorman Road, Daily lane closures June 19th – July 20th between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.
  • US 33 at US 127, Intermittent lane closures May 22nd – September 15th between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
  • SR 707 between Indiana State line and US 33, Daily lane closures April 21st – July 24th between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.  


Miami County

  • I-75 south at US 36, Lane closure June 26th between the hours of 1 pm and 2:30 pm.  One southbound lane will remain open.
  • Piqua-Troy Road between Statler Road and Eldean Road, ROAD CLOSURE April 12th – October 12th.   The official detour is: Piqua-Troy Road to  West Peterson to CR 25A to Eldean Road to Piqua -Troy Road or Piqua-Troy Road to West Peterson to Troy-Sidney Road to Statler Road to Piqua-Troy Road
  • I-75 between CR 25A (Troy) and US 36, Shoulder closures April 11th – October 31st.   


Montgomery County

  • I-75 south between I-70 and Benchwood Road, Overnight lane closure June 26th at 9 pm – June 27th at 5:30 am. Two southbound lanes will remain open.
  • SR 48 between Siebenthaler Avenue and Shiloh Springs Road, Nightly lane closures June 26th – July 31st between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • SR 49 between SR 721 and US 40, Daily lane closures June 12th – July 31st between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • I-70 between Preble County Line Road and South Kimmel Road, Nighty lane closures June 12th – August 31st between the hours of 6 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • SR 741 at Austin Boulevard, Intermittent lane closures and construction work May 22nd – August 25th.  All lanes will remain open (aside from brief lane closures in May).
  • Bridgewater Road between Taylorsville Road and US 40, BRIDGE CLOSURE May 15TH – September 12th.   The official detour is: Bridgewater Road to Taylorsville Road to Rip Rap Road to Little York Road to Brown School Road to US 40
  • SR 202 between Troy Villa Boulevard and Chesam Drive, Traffic pattern shift May 15th – July 21st.  All southbound traffic will be shifted to the northbound side of SR 202. There will be one southbound lane and one northbound lane operating on the northbound side of SR 202.
  • Ludlow Street Ramp to US 35 west, RAMP CLOSURE May 12th – August 9th.   The official detour is: Washington Street to US 35 west
  • I-70 between I-75 and SR 202, SHOULDER CLOSURE May 8th – September 12th. Both the inside and outside shoulders will be closed for road work. Road will be open.
  • I-70 between Airport Access Road and Taywood Road, Lane closures April 3rd - June 30th. Two lane will remain open at all times.
  • I-75 north/Stewart Street Ramp to US 35 East, RAMP CLOSURE March 28th – September 23rd.  The official detour is: Stewart Street to Edwin C. Moses Boulevard to  I-75 north to US 35 west to James H McGee Blvd. to US 35 east
  • I-75 south Ramp to US 35 west, RAMP CLOSURE January 9th – September 30th. The official detour is: I-75 south to the Edwin C. Moses turn around lane to I-75 north to US 35 west


Shelby County

  • SR 274 between Sidney-Freyburg Road and Rieneke- Schipper Road, ROAD CLOSURE June 26th – 30th.   The official detour is:SR 274 toI-75 to SR 119 to SR 65 to SR 274
  • Amsterdam Road between CR 25A (Sidney) and Heiland Kies Road, ROAD CLOSURE May 15th – August 15th.   The official detour is: Amsterdam Road to CR 25A to SR 274 to Heiland Kies Road to Amsterdam Road


UPCOMING CLOSURES:

  • Darke - SR 49 between Rossburg-Lightsville Road and the Mercer/Darke County line, Daily lane closures June 26th – July 21st between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of flaggers.
  • Miami - West Peterson Road East between Troy-Sidney Road and Piqua-Troy Road, ROAD CLOSURE July 5th – August 19th.   The official detour is: Troy Sidney Road to Piqua Troy Rd to Eldean Rd to County Road 25A to Peterson Road
  • Auglaize – SR 501 between Buckland Holden Road and National Road, ROAD CLOSURE July 10th – 14th.   The official detour is: SR 117 to SR 198 to SR 501
  • Auglaize – SR 501 between Ritchie Road and National Road, ROAD CLOSURE July 17th – 21st.   The official detour is: SR 117 to SR 198 to SR 501
  • Shelby -SR 66 between Enterprise Drive and Greenback Road, ROAD CLOSURE July 10th – October 13th.   The official detour is: SR 47 to I-75 to SR 29 to SR 705

ODOT closures focus on Interstate, US and State routes.  For information on local roads you will need to contact the county, city or township where the road is located.  Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.  All work is weather permitting. Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
