Homeless Crisis Response Program Application
The PY 2022 Homeless Crisis Response Program (HCRP) application will open in OCEAN, Monday, August 8, 2022. Application information and documents are now available on The Office of Community Assistance’s (OCD’s) Technical Assistance website. The application submission deadline for the PY 2022 HCRP Program application is Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The Program Year (PY) 2022 Supportive Housing Program (SHP) application will be open in OCEAN on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. The submission deadline for the PY 2022 SHP Program application is Friday, October 7, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Weekly Digest Update
The Office of Community Development Weekly Digest will be taking a hiatus the month of August to make improvements. The Digest will return in a new monthly format in September.
Residential Public Infrastructure Grant and Economic Development Applications Available
Application documents for the PY 2022 Residential Public Infrastructure Grant (RPIG) program are now available on the Technical Assistance site. Those interested in applying should fill out the Letter of Interest and return to Wesley.Watkins@development.ohio.gov. Once reviewed, the grantee will be notified and a full application will be available in OCEAN in the coming weeks.

Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program Round 29 Intent to Apply Now Available
The Intent to Apply period for Round 29 of the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit program is now open. The online form is available on the program website.
Applicants have until 5 p.m. on August 15 to complete the Intent to Apply and reserve a place for their project in the Round 29 application round.
Applicants must request a pre-application meeting with the State Historic Preservation Office by Monday, August 1. The online form to make that request is found here.

Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit Program Pipeline Initiative Accepting Applications
The Pipeline Initiative provides funding and technical assistance to assist in nominating buildings, districts, and areas to the National Register of Historic Places. The primary goal is to develop a pathway for properties that are eligible for redevelopment assistance through the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit program.
Applications for Fiscal Year 2023 will be accepted between July 1, 2022 and June, 30 2023. Applications are accepted on an open cycle and funded on a first-come, first-served basis, based on funding availability.

Lead Abatement Tax Credit Program Available
The Ohio Lead Abatement Tax Credit Program provides a state income tax credit to Ohio property owners who incur qualifying lead abatement costs in connection with an eligible dwelling. The tax credit is capped at $10,000 per taxpayer and per eligible dwelling.

Environmental Review Process
Until further notice, grantees must submit environmental review Request for Release of Funds and/or Certification documentation via email to ocd@development.ohio.gov. Grantees may view and download Project-Specific Release of Environmental Conditions documents in OCEAN. OCD will not mail hard copies of these documents. Please email Cecilia Castillo at Cecilia.Castillo@development.ohio.gov if you have any questions regarding the environmental review process.
