Thank you for your patience as we navigate changes to the required data reporting systems. We are dedicated to supporting grantees through this process and have an updated resource.
-
Grantee Guidance Document: The ECE team is happy to share a guidance document for grantees. The ECE Grantee Transition Guidance provides information about the transition to Ohio Benefits (OB) and the Time, Attendance, and Payment (TAP) system. We have combined several previously shared documents and added additional information.
-
ECE Grant Student Applications: The deadline to submit ECE Grant student applications to the County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) is November 1, 2024. Grantees should only send applications enrolled and approved as eligible by the Grantee before October 1, 2024. Families enrolled in an ECE Grant program after October 1, 2024, will apply directly through the OB self-service portal (SSP) or a paper Job and Family Services (JFS) 07200 application submitted to the CDJFS.
-
CCIP Budget: All budgets need to be in Director Approved status on or before November 8, 2024.
-
Early Learning Assessment: ECE Grantees must assess ECE Grant-funded children with a set of 15 skills, knowledge, and behaviors (SKBs) in the fall and spring. Programs must report the assessment results no later than two weeks after the administration window ends.
The two reporting windows are:
Fall: August 15 – December 6 Spring: February 15 – May 30
This year’s ELA reporting is a simple file upload process. Programs collect data on paper and transfer it to a spreadsheet template or enter the ratings directly into the spreadsheet template when completing the assessment. The program then uploads the completed spreadsheet template to a secure portal. Grantees can find more information at Early Learning Assessment FAQs - For Administrators | Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and Ohio K-12 Help ELA Score Entry Reporting.
