Dear Early Care and Education Stakeholders,
Recently two manual procedure letters were issued for Early Care and Education services (this includes Publicly Funded Child Care, the Early Childhood Education grant, and the Child Care Choice program), CCMPL 182-2024 Update to Child Care Income Eligibility Standards and CCMPL 183-Provider Agreement and ROI.
Publicly funded child care (PFCC) intake is based on a family’s income. Each year the federal poverty levels change, as a result, the intake amount and copayments change for PFCC. Effective 10/1/2024, the new intake amounts will change and can be found on the Early Care and Education Eligibility page.
Early care and education providers who wish to provide PFCC, the Early Childhood Education grant or the Child Care Choice program must sign the DCY 01144 “Provider Agreement for Early Care and Education Services”. This form has been revised to include all Early Care and Education Services and to reflect that the agreement is with the Department of Children and Youth.
The DCY 01115 “Early Care and Education Services Release of Information” has been revised to include Publicly Funded Child Care, the Early Childhood Education grant and the Child Care Choice program as well as reflect the change to the Department of Children and Youth.
