DAS Director Madden testifies on agency’s budget proposal
DAS Director Kathleen Madden testified yesterday in front of the Ohio House Finance Subcommittee on Higher Education on the agency’s proposed budget for the next biennium that supports the mission of DAS and aligns with Governor DeWine’s policy priorities.
Highlighting the testimony were requests for additional investments in Ohio’s Multi-Agency Radio Communication System (MARCS) and the transition to Next Generation 9-1-1.
“The DAS budget request prioritizes data-driven investments that support the DeWine-Husted administration’s goals of easing access for those doing business with the state, prioritizing an innovative and secure technical environment, creating efficiencies across state agencies, and investing in a secure Ohio,” said Madden.
