DAS tech experts detail Ohio's identity management system
Two DAS technical experts recently spoke with StateTech Magazine about OH|ID, a standard used by many state agencies that allows Ohioans to use a single username and password to access state programs and services.
Neal Gallucci, Technical Administrator, and Brett Adamik, Identity Service Manager, both with the InnovateOhio Platform within DAS’ Office of Information Technology, shared their expertise in this StateTech article, which names Ohio as a national leader in ID and access management to better serve citizens online.
 OH|ID is also the state’s enterprise identity solution for State of Ohio and county employees, contractors, and external workers. It was also recently expanded to offer Ohio unemployment claimants secure access to their online account with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

DAS IT professional named Rising Star
Congratulations to Doncella Alexander of the DAS Office of Information Technology for winning the Rising Star award at the ComSpark Central Ohio Tech Power Player Awards on Dec. 8. The awards recognize leading technology executives and companies in central Ohio.
Alexander has nearly 20 years of experience in state government and has been Program Administrator for the Ohio Business Gateway since 2019. The Ohio Business Gateway is a one-stop website for businesses to interact with state government, where users register, file, and pay various types of taxes and conduct other transactions.
