Curious about strength training but not sure where to start? Lift & Learn is a beginner-friendly fitness education class for adults ages 18 and older who want to feel more comfortable using the gym and exercising safely.
Each session combines light workouts with practical instruction. You’ll learn basic strength training movements, how to use common gym equipment and how to build workouts that support goals like strength, endurance and overall fitness. The class will also touch on wellness topics such as recovery, sleep and healthy habits that support long-term fitness. The multi-week series takes place in the Glenwood Community Center fitness room.
