It’s deer season, and they’re doing what deer do best—running around like they own the place!
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, deer-related crashes spike after daylight saving time ends, especially around sunrise and sunset. If you see a deer on the road, brake—don’t swerve. They travel in groups, so if one appears, assume it brought friends.
Stay alert, stay steady and get to work and home safely!

The Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center’s gallery is throwing one last creative celebration before renovations begin—and you’re the artist!
On Friday, Nov. 7, from 6-8 p.m., join us for “Make Your Mark,” a one-night-only chance to draw, paint, write or doodle directly on the gallery walls. Bring a friend, bring your ideas and leave your mark on this once-in-a-lifetime community mural. Supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own. All artwork must be family friendly.
During the same time, the Loft Gallery will open the “Columbus Recreation and Parks’ Youth Art Exhibit,” featuring 2D and 3D pieces from young artists across the City. Stop by, and support our next generation of creators!
