Columbus Recreation and Parks is committed to our community—and especially to our neighbors whose lives are being impacted by the federal government shutdown. If you or someone you know needs support with food access, we’re here to help.
Fresh Produce: Every Thursday and Friday, stop by our Mobile Produce Markets at select community centers through Nov. 21 to pick up fresh produce at no cost. No registration or paperwork required.
Free Meals for Students: School-age children can also receive a free meal every weekday from 3:30-5 p.m. at our Afterschool Program sites. All are welcome. Participating community centers include Adams, Barack, Blackburn, Douglas, Driving Park, Far East, Glenwood, Holton, Howard, Linden, Milo Grogan, Sullivant Gardens, Feddersen and Woodward Park community centers.
If you need support, please come. If someone you know could benefit from these resources, feel free to share this message. In times like these, community matters—and Columbus shows up for one another.
