Love nature and want to support conservation? Join the Pollinator Documentation Program, and help track pollinator species and plant health across 37 Columbus habitats. Your observations help guide future care and maintenance. Get started by signing up for in-person training on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 6-7 p.m. at the prairie at Whetstone Park. You’ll learn how to use the iNaturalist app, document routes and identify pollinators. Can’t attend in person? Complete virtual training when it works for you.

Ready for chaos on the diamond? Join us for the Mixed Nutz Screwball Tournament—a wild day of wacky rules, crazy innings and zany outfits. The only rule? Don’t take it too seriously. The tournament takes place on Sunday, Aug. 17, at Lou Berliner Sports Park. The entry fee is $200 per team.

Make a splash at a free private pool party for LGBTQ+ youth and friends on Friday, Aug. 8, at Dodge Pool! Designed for students ages 12-18, this event offers a safe, inclusive space to swim, hang out and connect with others in the community.
Participants are encouraged to wear swimwear that feels comfortable to them, as long as it's made primarily from polyester, spandex or nylon. Register online in advance, or simply drop in the day of the event.
