CBUS Soul® Fest Expands to Two Days
Festival will move from Genoa Park to Bicentennial Park
COLUMBUS - CBUS Soul® Fest, presented by Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, will be expanding from a one-day festival to a two-day festival for 2025. CBUS Soul® Fest will also be moving from Genoa Park to Bicentennial Park along the Scioto Mile, located at 233 Civic Center Dr., 43215.
“We are thrilled to announce that CBUS Soul® Fest will be expanding to a two-day festival,” said Bernita A. Reese, M.S., CPRP, director of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. “This festival is a fantastic way to celebrate Black culture in downtown Columbus at the recently renovated Bicentennial Park, allowing for a larger space to offer more room for this growing festival.”
CBUS Soul® Fest will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, and Saturday Aug. 16, from 4-10 p.m.
Featuring live music, great food and lots of soul, this free event promises an unforgettable experience for all. CBUS Soul® Fest builds upon Experience Columbus’ CBUS Soul® platform that amplifies the rich, historic, innovative and forward-moving Black culture that helps to fuel the vibrancy of Columbus.
The festival is now accepting applications for food vendors and musicians. Apply for your spot at CBUS Soul® Fest here.
Headliners and food vendors for CBUS Soul® Fest will be announced later this spring. Learn more at CBUSSoulFest.com or by following CBUS Soul® Fest on Facebook and Instagram at @cbussoulfest.
