Each year, our Adopt a Center program provides hot meals and gifts to families in need, and we couldn’t do it without the generous support of sponsors like you. Fall is a fantastic season to get outside and try archery, whether you’re bowhunting or practicing target shots. Here are some quick tips to keep you safe and make your experience even more enjoyable:

Inspect Your Gear: Check your bow and equipment before heading out to make sure everything’s in top shape.

Mind Your Surroundings: Ensure the area around you is clear—no one should be in your line of fire.

Perfect Your Form: Small adjustments in form make a big difference! Confirm your bow is appropriately loaded properly to avoid dry firing and protect your equipment.

Stay Visible: Wear bright or reflective gear so others can easily spot you and keep everyone safe.
Want to learn more? Join our special archery event on Nov. 27 from 9 a.m.-noon, where youth ages 8-13 can get started with the basics. We’re also offering a two-week archery series for women on Dec. 5 and 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. Both activities take place at Ottawa Lodge, 3200 Indian Village Road, 43221.

Join us for a full day of exciting competition at the inaugural 50+ Senior Slam Pickleball Tournament, held on Friday, Dec. 6, at Scioto Southland Community Center, 3901 Parsons Ave., 43207 and Friday, Dec. 13, at Whetstone Community Center, 3923 N. High St., 43214. This action-packed event will follow a round-robin format, giving each team two guaranteed pool games plus bracket play for a chance to compete to the finish.
Registration is now open, so gather your team and get ready! The tournament fee is $40 per team, with each team playing four games. Games kick off at 8:30 a.m.

Step into the whimsical world of Wonderland as Alice’s adventures unfold in Alice in Wonderland, a lively and enchanting production! Follow Alice as she chases the White Rabbit and stumbles upon a series of quirky characters like the playful Dodo bird, the mischievous Tweedledee and Tweedledum and the unforgettable Queen of Hearts. With each twist and turn, Wonderland grows stranger—and more magical!
Join us for a night (or afternoon!) of family fun and adventure from Nov. 15-17 at Westgate Community Center, 455 S. Westgate Ave., 43204. Performances are set for 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are just $5, so bring the whole family, and dive into a world of imagination, laughter and wonder!

Get ready to celebrate the winter season at WinterFest Columbus on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bicentennial Park! With free admission and an incredible lineup of live music, seasonal craft beers and mouthwatering eats from Columbus’ favorite food trucks, this festival will surely bring out the holiday spirit in everyone.
This year’s headliner is none other than Saxsquatch, the 7-foot-tall sensation from North Carolina whose saxophone skills and stage presence have captivated over 3 million fans online. Known for his smooth saxophone melodies layered over original music, remixes and crowd participation, Saxsquatch’s live performance will bring a mind-bending mix of music production and charisma to WinterFest Columbus!
Set along the scenic Scioto Mile, WinterFest Columbus is the perfect spot to enjoy downtown, mingle with friends and dive into the holiday atmosphere.
