In addition to serving the community, Warner Woods Park is a model of environmental stewardship, balancing recreational use with ecological preservation. Thoughtfully designed to protect and enhance the natural landscape, the park integrates stormwater bioretention basins that manage runoff while supporting habitats for pollinators and native plants, boosting both environmental health and scenic beauty. Visitors can explore a 15-acre nature preserve through a carefully constructed boardwalk, providing an immersive wetland experience while minimizing disruption to the ecosystem.
