COLUMBUS, OH – The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is excited to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Warner Woods Park, a vital new addition to the rapidly growing Northeast Columbus community. This event will celebrate the park's incredible features, which have already become beloved by residents.

About Warner Woods Park
Warner Woods Park is a symbol of Columbus' commitment to creating accessible, vibrant and inclusive green spaces for all. Spanning 45 acres, the park features a mix of active and passive recreation areas, including soccer fields, pickleball courts, a bicycle skills track and a serene nature preserve with a boardwalk. The park provides ADA-accessible benches, tables and pathways, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the space regardless of ability. A rental pavilion on the northeast side of the park offers an affordable venue for weddings and events for up to 100 guests. Residents who book their event at the open house will receive a discount.
This new park serves more than 4,000 residents within walking distance and will play a critical role in connecting people with nature and each other as Northeast Columbus continues to grow.
