In the Loft Gallery, experience the creativity of the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center's Encaustic Studio class, Wax Fusion: Artwork from the Encaustic Studio students. Encaustics, an ancient art form meaning "in hot wax," combines beeswax with plant resin, paper, collage, carving and more. Witness this vibrant exhibition's colorful and inventive pieces that residents have brought to life.

Having a safe, constructive space to go to after school can make all the difference for young people. It provides the opportunity to learn, grow and stay engaged in positive activities that help shape their future. This year, we’re celebrating the first successful year of the Afterschool Rec Club, a program that’s given participants the chance to do just that!
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 4 p.m. for Lights On Afterschool to honor their hard work and achievements. All Afterschool Rec Club participants and their families are invited to an evening of fun and celebration at COSI, 333 W Broad St., 43215.
