Have you checked out the Central Ohio Blueway Trails? If you enjoy kayaking or canoeing, the weather is still warm enough to check them out! The 8.94-mile state-designated Olentangy Water Trail runs from the Broad Meadows pedestrian bridge downtown to the confluence of the Scioto River. There are four boating hazards (lowhead dams) along the trail, so make sure you use the designated portage locations to walk your kayak or canoe around those obstacles so you stay safe. Learn about the hazards and the points of interest along this water trail.
There are also paddlesports lockers available to rent near Lower.com Field, at the Lower Olentangy Park and boat launch if you want to keep your kayak or canoe near downtown. Learn more about the Central Ohio Blueway Trails.
