Summer is one of the best times of the year to check out trails near you! Did you know that central Ohio has more than 230 miles of regional trails? Walking, running, biking and kayaking are great forms of exercise. Learn more about the Central Ohio Greenways trails, which include popular trails like the Olentangy Trail and the Alum Creek Trail. If you are interested in kayaking or canoeing, you can also visit the Central Ohio Blueway Trails, which is the Olentangy River Water Trail. Celebrate Columbus’ vibrant Black culture, music and soul during CBUS Soul Fest, presented by Columbus Recreation and Parks in partnership with Experience Columbus. This one-day event features live music and great food! The concert lineup includes multi-Grammy winner PJ Morton, Avery*Sunshine, The Deal Breakers, MojoFlo and Harmonic Soul.

The Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging (COAAA) plans, funds and delivers services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes. With the assistance of area providers, COAAA arranges and coordinates services to help individuals with activities of daily living such as homemaking, transportation, home delivered meals, personal care and more.
COAAA, which is part of Columbus Recreation and Parks, offers education and resources, and advocates for programs and policies that benefit older adults and individuals with disabilities. Notably, the agency manages services for 15,000 people and funds services for another 25,000 older adults. Learn more about all that COAA has to offer.
