Have you visited Duranceau Park? Located at 3470 Dublin Road in Columbus, Duranceau Park is a 17-acre park in between Upper Arlington and Hilliard. The park has a playground, an open-air shelter, picnic tables, restrooms and ample green space to explore. It is near the Scioto River. Stop by the latest art exhibition at the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center, Water is Life. Curated by April Sunami in conjunction with the International Global Water Dances Project, this exhibition uses art to underscore the need for safe, reliable sources of water in communities around the world. Between June 2-July 8, enjoy the fun and engaging programs designed to raise awareness about the world’s most precious resource. These include:
- Water is Life art exhibition opening reception and poetry reading on Friday, June 2, at 6 p.m.
- Creek clean-up and community conservation day on Saturday, June 3, at 9 a.m.
- Global Water Dances International Event on Saturday, June 10, at 3 p.m.
- Conversations and Coffee with the main gallery exhibitors for Water is Life on Thursday, June 29, at 12 p.m.

Beat the summer heat and have a blast at Dorrian Days! This free community event for the family features the fountain at Dorrian Green, inflatables, performances, science experiments and more! Stop by every Tuesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. between June 13 and Aug.15 (excluding July 4) at Dorrian Green, located in front of COSI at 50 S. Belle St. These events are in partnership with Columbus Downtown Development Commission. Make sure you save all the dates to your calendar.
