The deadline for filing City returns is July 15
Our team at the Columbus Division of Income Tax is gearing up for the July 15 filing deadline. We're providing the following information to make sure you are prepared to submit your annual returns.
What is due on Wednesday? For individuals and businesses, 2019 annual returns, 2019 extension requests, 2020 declarations of estimated tax, and 2020 first and second quarterly payments of income tax are due on July 15. These are Forms IR-25, IR-42, IR-21, and IR-18 for individuals and BR-25, BR-42, BR-21, and BR-18 for businesses.
City forms available: Individual, corporate, and employer filing forms and instructions are available in the Forms section of the Income Tax Division website. Additionally, the instructions for Forms IR-25, IR-21, and IR-18 are now available in Arabic and Spanish.
Walk-in service suspended: due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our walk-in taxpayer service has been suspended. In lieu of this service, we are offering a drop-off return preparation service in our office's lobby at 77 N. Front Street. For more details, please visit our 2020 Filing Season Information page.
Phone service: our team will be available by phone on the following days/times leading up to the deadline:
