John Logue has been sworn in as the new Administrator of the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC). Administrator Logue joined BWC back in 2019 as Chief of Strategic Direction. In this role, he led the Division of Safety & Hygiene, the offices of Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Business Transformation, and creation of the Workplace Safety Innovation Center.
In November 2020, Logue served as Interim Administrator and stayed in the role until August 2021 when Administrator McCloud returned from the Ohio Department of Health.

BWC’s Chief Operating Officer Wins MLK Award

BWC’s Chief Operating Officer, Trish Harris, has been awarded the MLK Award for her significant contributions toward building a sense of unity among Ohio citizens, by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the 12-member Commission announced the award winners in this news release on Jan. 3, 2023. The Commission, which receives administrative support from the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, advocates Dr. King’s principles of nonviolent change and the pursuit of racial, social, and economic justice. The award ceremony was held on Jan. 12 at the Trinity Episcopal Church located in downtown Columbus. |
