The answer was yes, Ohio BWC risk control services were effective in reducing workers’ compensation cost rates and controlling or reducing severe injuries for serviced employers.
Occupational Exposure Sampling for Engineered Nanomaterials This new technical report from NIOSH has guidance for workplace sampling for three engineered nanomaterials: carbon nanotubes and nanofibers, silver, and titanium dioxide and an approach to exposure sampling for other engineered nanomaterials that do not have exposure limits.

New Heat Information Website Heat.gov is the new site for the National Integrated Heat Health Information System (NIHHIS), a collaboration of NIHHIS Federal partners, which include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, OSHA, NIOSH, and many others. The site was created “to develop and provide actionable, science-based information to help protect people from heat.”
