Autumn - the Season of Gratitude With the autumn season comes a rush of changes! For example, shortened day-light hours, adjusted work schedules, and a new school year can leave us feeling tired, stressed, or overwhelmed. When we feel this way, it is easy to become grumpy and a little negative. Gratitude might be the key to helping us fight the negative blues! Gratitude is simply showing thankfulness or appreciation for the things we have. This can include things we can see, like our homes, clothes, or a car. Gratitude also includes things we cannot see such as the love of family and friends. Practicing gratitude is good for our mood and health. Gratitude can help us improve our relationships with others, help us have a more positive outlook on life, and may improve our heart health!
