Ohio-Based PPE Manufacturers Opportunity
The State of Ohio is seeking Ohio-based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturers interested in selling their products to State agencies through a new program launching this fall. PPE is defined as “equipment worn to minimize exposure to hazards that cause workplace injuries and illnesses.”
Participating entities must be Ohio-based PPE manufacturers producing PPE in Ohio, with at least two-thirds of beneficial ownership vested in Ohio residents.
Manufacturers meeting this requirement must complete and submit the electronic application form by clicking on the following link the electronic application form.

ODOT Is Coming to OhioBuys!
The Ohio Department of Transportation is moving to OhioBuys! In October, DOT contracts will be available for use on the OhioBuys public contracts page and in OhioBuys. New contracts will be completed in OhioBuys. In addition, all Pcard holders will be making catalog purchases in OhioBuys. In fall 2024, DOT will complete all solicitations, requisitions, and purchase orders in OhioBuys.

If your company is not set up as shown above, you will not receive notices about opportunities to do business with the State. Also, you may not be prepared to submit responses to solicitations when responses are due. Agencies do receive reporting on which suppliers are active in OhioBuys.
