What are you waiting for? The time is now to be a part of OhioBuys and do business with the State of Ohio.
All state cabinet agencies have been onboarded, and there are now more than thirty Agencies looking to do business with your company through OhioBuys. In November, there were over 380 solicitations conducted in OhioBuys. Month over month, the number of solicitations conducted in OhioBuys continues to grow!
Don’t miss out!
Make sure your company is properly set up in OhioBuys to ensure you can receive notifications about and respond to relevant solicitations. To become set up correctly, we recommend watching this 24-minute video with this presentation deck for reference: OhioBuys Supplier Training Webinar Deck. These materials cover the following topics:
- Getting started in OhioBuys
- How to manage your profile, including managing contacts and selecting commodities
- Responding to Solicitations
- Reviewing and Acknowledging Purchase Orders
- Listing your organization's goods and/or services as part of a catalog
If your company is not set up as shown above, you will not receive notices about opportunities to do business with the State and may not be prepared to submit responses to solicitations when responses are due. Agencies also receive reporting on which suppliers are active in OhioBuys.

Revenue Share Reminder
To avoid issues with Revenue Share being improperly calculated on a contract, please ensure purchase orders received from the State of Ohio properly reference your company’s contracts prior to fulfilling the order. If a line item improperly references a contract, work with the issuing agency to issue a new purchase order with correct contract references before fulfilling the order.
With the end of the second quarter of FY23 fast approaching, please remember to submit your Revenue Share reports for Q4 in OhioBuys if your company holds a revenue share contract with the State.
Trouble Viewing Your Revenue Share Contract?
If you cannot see your revenue share contracts in OhioBuys, click on your organization’s name in the top right-hand side of any page in Ohio Buys and select the location you want to view. In this instance, it would be the head office. You can confirm you are looking at your head office location by hovering over the location drop-down option and reviewing the OAKS ID. If there is not a -1, -2, -3, etc., after the listed ID, you are viewing the head office location.
