New webinar series: What Providers Need to Know
The Workers’ Compensation Board (Board) is pleased to offer a webinar series for health care providers who are authorized to treat New York State’s injured workers.
Over the past few years, the Board has focused on improving health care in the workers’ compensation system and enhancing the experience of treating providers. We’ve made some great changes and more are on the way!
Join Medical Director Dr. James Tacci and others from the Board’s Medical Director’s Office to get the latest on:
- Recent legislation that expands injured workers’ access to care
- OnBoard updates (including PAR efficiencies)
- The Board’s mandate – now in effect – requiring electronic submission of CMS-1500 bills and medical narratives, and other medical billing improvements
- Plans to increase the Medical Fee Schedule, to make workers’ comp more competitive
- Medical Treatment Guideline updates
- Training and other resources available to health care providers
These one-hour sessions are free, and always include time at the end to answer your questions.
