Today: Webinar for workers on COVID-19 and workers’ compensation
The Workers’ Compensation Board (Board) is pleased to continue its webinar series today to help workers who believe they may have contracted COVID-19 on the job. Those who have missed time from work or who are suffering from ongoing or long COVID symptoms are especially encouraged to attend this free session!
This one-hour webinar will provide information on workers’ rights when it comes to filing a workers’ compensation claim and the cash and/or medical benefits they may be eligible to receive.
While the online session is targeted toward workers who have lost time from work, have ongoing medical problems, and/or have long COVID, the information is relevant to anyone who believes they may have contracted COVID-19 due to an exposure at work. There will be time at the end for additional questions.
Please note: Workers have two years from the time they contracted COVID-19 to file a claim.
Wednesday, June 12, 2024 12 - 1 p.m. Register here for this free session!
