Starting November 1: Board Opening New Customer Service Center in New Windsor, Consolidating Hudson, Newburgh and Poughkeepsie Locations
The Workers’ Compensation Board (Board) is pleased to announce the opening of a new customer service center in New Windsor, New York. The new location is larger, more modern and will have more hearing rooms, enabling the Board to provide better customer service to injured workers and other stakeholders.
Effective November 1, the new facility -- located at 100 Commerce Drive, New Windsor, NY 12553 -- will serve as the Board’s single mid-Hudson customer service center/hearing point, and the Hudson, Newburgh and Poughkeepsie customer service centers will close.

You will begin to see New Windsor included on the notices for hearings scheduled on November 7 or after. From that point on, any hearing that would have been scheduled for Hudson, Newburgh and Poughkeepsie, will be scheduled for New Windsor.
Please note: Hearings for injured workers in the southernmost zip codes currently assigned to Hudson will be moved to New Windsor and the rest will be held in Menands.
Hearings remain remote-only
Although we are consolidating these customer service centers now, New Windsor and all other Board locations currently remain closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Until the Board announces otherwise, all workers’ compensation hearings will continue to be held remotely using virtual hearings. When the customer service centers reopen, injured workers, attorneys and other hearing participants will still be able to choose to attend their hearings remotely using virtual hearings.
