Reminder: Changes to Administrative Decisions and Proposed Decisions (Updated January 2020)

The Workers’ Compensation Board (Board) wants to make sure that we promptly and efficiently act upon all objections to Administrative Decisions (ADs) and Proposed Decisions (PDs). When an objection is not placed in the designated area on the AD or PD form, it can be misrouted, which leads to delays and confusion as to whether an AD or PD has become final. Therefore, we’d like to inform you of a process change regarding submitting objections to ADs and PDs.

Moving forward, objections to ADs and PDs must be stated within the space provided on the issued AD or PD and sent to the Board. You must also include the WCB case number within your objection.

The following instructions have been added to ADs and PDs:

If you object to part or all of this decision, your reasons must be included on the back of this form and returned to the address listed above (keep a copy for your records). Any objection must be received on this form.
