Workload administrators will soon be able to search for active PARs, past PARs, and export results!
OnBoard is being upgraded! As of June 6, 2022, OnBoard will include a new tab, PAR Search, for workload administrators. Workload administrators will be able to search the system for all active and past prior authorization requests (PARs) for which they are serving the role of a workload administrator for their current organization. These results can be exported to a .CSV file.
PAR Search Options
The new PAR Search tab will give workload administrators the ability to search for all inflight PARs, all closed PARs, or create a custom search based on various criteria.
The All Inflight PARs option will display any PAR that is, was, or in the future will be, with the workload administrator and has not reached a final conclusion. These search results will show up to 10,000 of the most recent inflight PAR records with PAR statuses that have been updated in the last 30 days.
The All Closed PARs option will display any PAR that was previously with the workload administrator and has completed the PAR process. These search results will show up to 10,000 of the most recently closed PAR records with PAR statuses that have been updated in the last 30 days.
The Custom PAR Search option will display all PARs that match the entered criteria specified by the workload administrator.
Search Results
Search results will display PARs that a workload administrator:
- has received and needs to respond to, or assign to Level 1 or Level 2 reviewers,
- has responded to or assigned in the past, and
- may receive in their queue in the future (for example, if you are the workload administrator for an organization's Level 2 Medication PARs, you will see Medication PARs submitted to that organization that are currently in a Level 1 review PAR status).
View and Export Your Results
All PAR Search results will generate a table with PAR details. The PAR ID can be selected to access the PAR Details page, where workload administrators can view related entities, request details, medical necessity information, documents, and more. Workload administrators will also have the ability to export their search results to a .CSV file for easy tracking or reporting!
Custom PAR Search
Custom PAR Search gives users the ability to search based on specific PAR details, including a PAR ID, PAR type, PAR Status, Patient Last Name, WCB Case Number, Claim Admin Claim Number, Insurer ID, Provider Name, a PAR Submission Date Range or a PAR Status Date Range. If a custom search displays more than 10,000 results, the user will be prompted to enter more specific criteria to narrow the results.
Previous Drug Formulary Removal
Beginning on the evening of June 9, 2022, the Drug Formulary application that has been available in read-only mode since March 7, 2022 will no longer be available. Medication PARs completed prior to the launch of OnBoard can be accessed by payers in the case folder in eCase as well as in OnBoard.
