Putnam County extends local sales and use tax exemption for clothing and footwear

 

Putnam County has extended its exemption on sales of eligible clothing and footwear costing less than $110 per item or per pair through February 28, 2027. Because these items are already exempt from New York State tax, they will remain fully exempt from state and local sales and use tax.
