With our payment resource center, you can quickly and easily find options to pay a bill, personal income tax owed with your return, or estimated tax.
Pay directly from your bank account for free
With routing and account numbers from a bank or banking services provider, you can pay a bill, tax owed with your return, or estimated tax using your Online Services account.
Want to make a payment outside Online Services? Try Quick Pay!
You can use Quick Pay to make a payment toward a bill, notice, or installment payment agreement (IPA)—with or without an Online Services account! For instructions, watch our Quick Pay demo.
If you choose Quick Pay, you'll need information from a return you filed within the last four years, so we can verify your identity and protect your sensitive tax information.
Pay by credit or debit card for a fee
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The card service provider we use to process these transactions charges a convenience fee of 2.20% for each card payment.
To learn more about the fee and to read our disclaimer, see Credit and debit card payment information.
We’ll work with you
It’s in your best interest to pay all tax bills in full by the due date to avoid penalty and interest. However, if you can’t pay in full by the due date on your bill, help is available. You can request an installment payment agreement (IPA) to make monthly payments toward your unpaid balance.
