Pass-Through Entity Tax (PTET) Estimated Payment application is available

To make an estimated PTET payment online (optional for 2021):

  1. Log in to your—or your client’s, if you’re a tax professional—Business Online Services account.
  2. Select the ≡ Services menu in the upper left corner of your Account Summary homepage.
  3. Choose PTET web file from the Corporation tax or Partnership tax expanded menu, then select Pass-through entity tax (PTET) estimated payment.  

Important: You must pay by ACH debit when making PTET payments.

 

ACH debit block information:  If you have debit blocks on your bank account—even if you have already authorized payments for other taxes to the Tax Department—you must communicate with your bank to specifically authorize PTET payments. Your bank will process only these authorized transactions. For more information, visit ACH debit block information. 

 

Reminder: You are not required to make estimated PTET payments for 2021. Members, shareholders, and partners must continue to make their personal income tax (PIT) payments without regard to the PTET credit they plan to claim on their 2021 PIT return.
