We’re updating the Basic STAR Ineligible reports to reflect a legislative change
The 2019-20 Enacted New York State Budget includes a measure to change the income limit for the Basic STAR exemption to $250,000. (However, the income limit for the Basic STAR credit will remain $500,000.) In light of this change, we are taking down the Basic STAR Ineligible Reports. In mid-April, when we re-launch the reports, they will include Basic STAR exemption applicants with incomes greater than $250,000. Stay tuned for more information about this and other legislative changes.
